I have quite the experience with tons of urgent cares in the Oc area, and my experience at south coast family medical center is definitely at the top of the list . Dr Christopher is a really great listener and makes you feel like he’s actually listening and trying to get to a solution to get you better. He doesn’t rush you, and has great medical knowledge. So far I’ve been very happy coming here!

I recently saw Dr. Lauren for the first time and I immediately felt I was in great hands, being listened to and cared for. Dr. Lauren took her time to go over all my concerns, and addressed them patiently, ensuring I receive promptly the required checks. And all, with a kind and positive attitude.

Came in with severe diarrhea over the course of 3 weeks. With just coming off of a course of antibiotics the thought was an active infection of c. Diff. Started antibiotics and performed stool test. Took Quest 2 weeks to complete the test but negative for bacteria. Dr Davis called with news of high WBC and said I need to see a gastroenterologist ASAP. So thankful as I found out I have Ulcerative colitis. Without him I would have never known. Always come to this practice as I would assume that they are my primary care. I love this place and both Lauren and Chris are wonderful doctors!

We have gone to south coast family for over thirty years. We started with dr. Kent and then his daughter and son-in-law drs. Lauren and Chris who took over the practice after his retirement.
